Guests See Red at FootageBank HD Annual Summer Party
Vintage Staplers Help Bring People Out of the Office

LOS ANGELES, August 25, 2006 -- FootageBank HD, the only footage company specializing in High Definition (HD) content, hosted its third annual summer party on Tuesday evening, August 22, at the historical Egyptian Theatre Courtyard.  The event is a yearly celebration of the fall television season and a time for FootageBank HD to honor its TV clients and footage suppliers.  Known for offbeat party favors and fun, this year’s theme focused on the vintage red staplers made popular in the movie “Office Space” and each guest received one of the hot items. In addition, copies of the film were given out, as well as a $400 Apple gift card and $100 in AMC movie tickets.

“The whole idea behind this event is to have some fun and enjoy the people we work with throughout the busy TV season,” said Paula Lumbard, founder and president of FootageBank HD.  “”When I first saw the vintage red staplers, I was attracted to them because it matches our Red Chair logo. Then I went online and googled ‘red stapler’ and discovered a blog culture around the movie, ‘Office Space’, and people who love their red staplers. I knew this was the perfect parting gift for our clients - offbeat like us and always helpful, which we are.”

Over 70 guests enjoyed a martini bar and “dined” on hot dogs, macaroni and cheese and frozen yogurt provided by Lickity Split of Hollywood. Photos from the event can be viewed at: http://footagebank.com/summerparty.html
